Ben Roethlisberger will likely sit out Week 13 when the Pittsburgh Steelers rematch with the Baltimore Ravens due to ribs injury he suffered in Week 10, sources tell the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Reports last week indicated that Roethlisberger had a good chance of suiting up, but that no longer appears to be the case.
Ben Roethlisberger unlikely to play Week 13, Charlie Batch with minimal fantasy value
Ben Roethlisberger will likely sit out Week 13 against the Baltimore Ravens, according to reports, giving Charlie Batch the start once again. We break down the fantasy implications.

As a result, Charlie Batch is expected to make his second straight start. The 37-year-old struggled mightily against the Cleveland Browns last week, going 20-for-34 passing for 199 yards and three interceptions.
Fantasy Impact: Steelers fans have to be bummed out, not to mention fantasy owners hoping Roethlisberger would be back for the start of their playoff runs. The issue does not appear to be with Roethlisberger’s pain tolerance, but whether he can physically perform effectively at the position.
Be sure to keep a close eye on injury reports this week and next to find out more about Roethlisberger’s long-term prospects. In the meantime, downgrade everyone involved in the Steelers’ offense from a fantasy perspective. Having Batch under center should hinder the receiving corps and the running game.
