Jacksonville Jaguars RB Jalen Permele (groin) has been placed on injured reserve, officially ending his 2012 season. Parmele suffered a groin injury against the Titans in Week 12. He returned to the game, but appears to have aggravated the injury.
Jalen Parmele placed on IR, ending brief fantasy relevance
The Jaguars have placed Jalen Parmele on injured-reserve, ending his 2012 season early. We break down the fantasy implications.

Parmele ends his season with 40 carries for 143 yards. He was briefly the starter with Maurice Jones-Drew out indefinably.
Fantasy Impact: Well, that ends Parmele's time as a fantasy sleeper. He was named the starter over the plodding Rashad Jennings, but this injury throws those plans out the window. Fantasy owners can drop him.
Jennings will get the starting job back by default, but he’s done nothing to earn fantasy consideration. Just avoid this situation until MJD comes back.
