New York Giants running back David Wilson has been waiting for an expanded role in the offense. His chance is coming in Week 13 against the Washington Redskins. Wilson became the No. 2 running back behind Ahmad Bradshaw after Andre Brown broke his fibula against the Green Bay Packers.
David Wilson ready for expanded role with Giants: Fantasy implications
New York Giants running back David Wilson is preparing for an expanded role in Week 13. We break down the fantasy implications.

Wilson said this week (via ESPNNewYork.com) that he’s previously hoped for more opportunities but this week he knows they’re coming. Wilson, a rookie from Virginia Tech, fumbled on the second carry of his career and has only had more than three carries in a game twice this season.
Fantasy Impact: There’s no question Wilson will have a bigger role but fantasy owners shouldn’t expect it to be the same as Brown’s. Bradshaw will likely get carries near the end zone and Wilson could be more valuable out of the backfield on passing downs.
Wilson should not be considered more than a flex play until it become clear how the Giants plan to use him. Bradshaw’s value should see a boost, especially if he stops losing goal-to-go carries.
