Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart (ankle) missed practice on Thursday and is considered day-to-day with a likely game-time decision coming. Stewart has not missed a game since early in the season and carried the ball eight times for 27 yards on Monday night against the Eagles.
Jonathan Stewart injury update: Fantasy value in doubt after missed practice
Carolina’s leading rusher could find himself on the sidelines in Week 13. We break down the fantasy implications.

DeAngelo Williams was demoted in favor of Stewart earlier this year and is averaging 3.2 yards per carry. Stewart is not doing much better though, with just 3.6 yards per carry and one touchdown, though he has added 157 yards through the air.
Fantasy Take: Things have changed so quickly in Carolina in regards to the run game. In 2011, they were the best and the three-headed monster was unstoppable. This year they added a supposed fourth head (Mike Tolbert) and it's crumbled. Tolbert is averaging 2.4 yards per carry and now Cam Newton has far surpassed anyone else on the team in rushing yards and touchdowns.
If Stewart is out, Williams would be an RB3 or flex play at best, but there’s just not a successful ground game for the Panthers this year. Even Stewart’s season high for yards is a paltry 51.
