Cardinals vs. Packers: Fantasy football projections featuring Larry Fitzgerald, Aaron Rodgers, Alex Green

The Green Bay Packers look to continue their winning streak as they host the Arizona Cardinals in Week 9. This game should see more of a focus on the passing game, as neither rushing attack has been particularly great. Adjust fantasy lineups accordingly. The Cardinals are coming off an abysmal offensive performance against the San Francisco 49ers. Larry Fitzgerald remains the top fantasy option, but his projection remains low due to inconsistencies in the Cardinals passing attack. Fitzgerald has gone from must-start WR1 to questionable WR1. The Packers pass defense has its own issues so there is some upside here, but expectations surrounding Fitzgerald are tempered.

LaRod Stephens-Howling will look to get back on track after a poor performance against a strong 49ers defense. Teams have been focusing on taking Larry Fitzgerald out of the picture, which could open the door for LSH. He is a decent bye week fill-in, but beyond that it is hard to tell how long he will hold onto the starting job.

The Packers are on a three-game winning streak, but the offense is coming off a bit of an up and down performance against the Jaguars. Aaron Rodgers remains a must-start, with a chance for a big game against a Cardinals defense that was shredded by Alex Smith. Most of his receivers are also solid options this week.

The running games remains a question mark. Alex Green has a low projection this week and remains a bye week fill-in and a moderate flex option in general.
