Brandon LaFell has been ruled inactive for Sunday's game between the Carolina Panthers and the Washington Redskins, according to the Charlotte Observer. LaFell was held out of practice throughout the week because of a concussion suffered in Week 8 against the Chicago Bears.
Brandon LaFell ruled inactive by Panthers: Fantasy prospects improve for Louis Murphy
Brandon LaFell has been ruled inactive for Sunday’s game between the Panthers and the Redskins. Louis Murphy will start in his place. We break down the fantasy implications.

Louis Murphy will reportedly start as the Panthers' No. 2 wide receiver behind Steve Smith. Murphy has only nine catches on the season and has been plagued by dropped passes.
Fantasy Impact: LaFell had been a relatively productive WR3 for fantasy owners in recent weeks, so it’s disappointing to see him land on the inactive list. He had three receptions for 88 yards last week, which was his second-highest yardage output of the season.
If you are in a deep league and you are absolutely desperate for a third wide receiver, Murphy could be worth a look. Otherwise, he is better left on your bench and/or waivers. He has caught just nine of 24 targets this season.
