ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden suffered a high ankle sprain against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and is week-to-week. McFadden rushed seven times for 17 yards against the Bucs before departing midway through the second quarter.
Darren McFadden injury update: Fantasy value declines with word of high ankle sprain
Darren McFadden is reported to have suffered a high ankle sprain in the Raiders loss to Tampa Bay. We break down the fantasy implications

According to Schefter, McFadden suffered the injury on his first carry of the game. He reportedly played through the pain before aggravating the injury in the second quarter and departing.
Fantasy Impact: A season of frustration for McFadden takes the next logical step with this news. McFadden had remained healthy all season long, but has struggled to get much of anything going in the Raiders stagnant rushing attack. McFadden currently has 132 rushes for 438 yards, putting him at a career-low 3.3 yards per carry.
A high ankle sprain is often viewed as a 3-5 week injury, which makes this diagnosis a little hard to figure out. McFadden is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday, which should give us a better estimate on his recovery time.
