Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson was active on Sunday for the first time since Week 7, but the day was short-lived as he left the game early on with an ankle injury. Nelson was targeted once and as he went for the pass, his ankle got caught.
Jordy Nelson injury update: Fantasy day ends before it can begin
Jordy Nelson injured his ankle early in the Packers 31-17 win over the Cardinals. We break down the fantasy implications.

Nelson reportedly stuck around the bench area for much of the rest of the game, but was not available in the locker room to discuss his injury. He entered the game having been inactive previously due to a hamstring injury. He was a bit of a surprise activation given the upcoming Packers bye week.
Fantasy Impact: It would appear to be back to square one for Nelson. Mike McCarthy did not provide an update, but one would imagine the Packers will have something to say on Monday. The team has Week 10 off, so even if you have Nelson, he would be benched this coming week.
Nelson is a tough one to figure out heading down the home stretch of the fantasy season. If he can get healthy over the bye week, Nelson could be a great option to close out the season. I would recommend buying extremely low on Nelson right now if you have the chance.
