Justin Blackmon caught five passes for 32 yards on a team-high nine targets in Week 9, also hauling in his first NFL touchdown against the Lions. However, he continues to make mistakes that should be fixed by now.
Justin Blackmon finally finds end zone, still struggling to boost fantasy value
Justin Blackmon is still making rookie mistakes. We break down the fantasy implications.

Blackmon dropped another pass and also failed to drag his feet on one catch in the second half. Head coach Mike Mularkey says his rookie receiver isn’t following through with the things he sees him do in practice.
Fantasy Impact: Keep in mind that Blackmon’s stats were padded from garbage time. His touchdown, while notable since it was the first of his career, came with 50 seconds left on the clock.
Maybe the red zone connection will pick up between Blackmon and Blaine Gabbert now that they’ve had success. However, it’s still Gabbert throwing the ball, so don’t expect much from any receiver on this roster.
