New Orleans Saints RB Darren Sproles (hand) is officially inactive for Monday Night Football, per Adam Caplan. This news is just a formality, as Sproles had already been ruled out Friday after having surgery on his broken hand. He was initially expected to miss 4-6 weeks, but the recovery is apparently going much faster than expected, and he could return as soon as Week 10.
Darren Sproles inactive for MNF, as expected: Fantasy implications
Darren Sproles is inactive for Monday Night, as expected. We break down the fantasy implications.

This will be the first game Sproles has missed since 2007.
Fantasy Impact: Just a friendly reminder to pull him from your fantasy lineups if you haven't already done so. Pierre Thomas is expected to get the start, and could have a nice night in what promises to be an offensive shootout.
We’ll monitor the Saints’ practice reports over the next week to see if Sproles really is coming back as fast as he hopes.
