The bye weeks are almost a thing of the past. Just two more weeks of having star players take the week off.
Fantasy football waiver-wire advice, Week 10: Players to target with Alfred Morris and Trent Richardson on bye week
Trent Richardson and Alfred Morris have been upstart rookie studs in fantasy football, but both are on bye week in Week 10. Which waiver wire adds will help fill the void?
Still, some top flight running back will be idle in Week 10, making the waiver wire an important place for needy owners again this week. The Washington Redskins, Green Bay Packers, Arizona Cardinals and Cleveland Browns are all on bye week in Week 10.
Check out some of the top running back options to fill in for Alfred Morris and Trent Richardson this week.
1. Marcel Reece, Oakland Raiders
Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson both went down during Sunday's game with high ankle sprains. Taiwan Jones will play a factor, but Marcel Reece is more capable of playing on all three downs because of his receiving ability. He plays the suddenly soft Ravens defense in Week 10, so he could be worth a spot start.
There was a brief glimmer of hope for Chris Ivory on Monday night. He got some carries and did some damage, scoring the Saints' lone rushing touchdown of the night. With Sproles missing at least another week, and the Saints set to face the Falcons, Ivory could be a sneaky plug-in option this week.
3. James Starks, Green Bay Packers
I know the Packers are on bye this week, but James Starks is still worth a speculative add. Alex Green hasn't been getting the job done, and Starks got more work against the Cardinals this past Sunday. If you have the roster space, grab Starks.
