Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III was on the practice field Wednesday during the portion that was open to the media but his status remains unclear for Week 15 against the Cleveland Browns. Griffin suffered a mild sprain of the lateral collateral ligament in Sunday's overtime win against the Baltimore Ravens.

Griffin was replaced late in the game by Kirk Cousins, who thew a touchdown pass in the closing seconds and then ran in the tying two-point conversion.
Fantasy Impact: Fantasy owners counting on Griffin will have to wait and see what the Redskins decided to do with their star rookie. It’s encouraging that he was on the practice field on Wednesday but it’s not a sure thing he will play.
Griffin has turned into a No. 1 fantasy quarterback but his status won’t be determined until later in the week. Cousins should not be trusted by owners needing a win in the playoffs.
