Minnesota Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder faces a "defining moment" in his development over the next three weeks, according to coach Leslie Frazier. The coach said Wednesday (via 1500ESPN.com) that Ponder has a chance to show a lot because the team's in the middle of a playoff race.
Christian Ponder facing ‘defining moment,’ fantasy value remains low
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder is facing a “defining moment” in his development over the next three weeks, according to coach Leslie Frazier. We break down the fantasy implications.

Ponder and the Vikings in recent weeks have been carried by Adrian Peterson, including in Sunday's win over the Chicago Bears. Ponder finished Sunday's game with just 91 yards on 11 of 17 passing. The Vikings face the St. Louis Rams in Week 15.
Fantasy Impact: Ponder’s fantasy value has dropped as the season goes along and there’s no reason for Minnesota to take the ball out of Peterson’s hands the rest of the way.
Ponder will be a game manager and not a viable option for fantasy owners at quarterback.
