Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb has a good chance of breaking the franchise record for net yards in a season. The record of 2,250 yards is held by running back Ahman Green, who set the mark in 2003. The record could fall against the Chicago Bears in Week 15, as Cobb needs just 160 yards to pass Green.
Randall Cobb closing in on Green Bay yardage record: Fantasy implications
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb is closing in on the franchise record for net yards in a season. We break down the fantasy implications.

Cobb leads the team in receptions with 71 and ranks second on the team in touchdowns with seven. Cobb has also racked up more than 1,200 return yards to go with his 777 receiving yards. He said this week (via The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel) that he wants to keep returning kicks because he likes to be on the field as much as he can.
Fantasy Impact: Cobb’s value as a kick returner doesn’t help many fantasy owners but it’s hard to argue with 71 catches, nearly 800 receiving yards and seven touchdowns from a second-year player.
Cobb should be considered a fringe No. 1 fantasy wide receiver in Week 15 against Chicago.
