Rob Gronkowski not expected to play: Fantasy implications
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is not expected to play on Sunday despite returning to practice on Friday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Gronkowski broke his forearm in Week 11 and was expected to miss 4-8 weeks, so a return in Week 15 was not out of the question, but was never considered likely. Gronk has 53 receptions for 748 yards and 10 touchdowns on the season.
Fantasy Impact: The talk earlier this week is that Gronkowski would be brought back in Week 17 to get him ready for the playoffs. The Pats have no reason to rush him back as they have averaged 38 points per game with him out of the lineup.
Without Gronk in the lineup, Aaron Hernandez continues to be an attractive option at tight end.
