49ers vs. Patriots: Fantasy football projections featuring Colin Kaepernick, Tom Brady, Wes Welker
We break down the pertinent fantasy projections for the Week 15 matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and New England Patriots.

San Francisco 49ers
Hopefully the Niners can put together a better performance than the Texans. Houston’s fantasy stars disappointed owners against New England in last week’s primetime showing. Colin Kaerpernick hasn’t thrown a touchdown pass in two games, but his consistency on the ground continues to pay off. He should be a solid play as he attempts to keep up with Tom Brady on Sunday night.
The Patriots kept Arian Foster in check last week, but he still managed a rushing touchdown. Frank Gore should be in for a heavy workload once again. He’s scored in both of his last two games.
New England Patriots
Tom Brady has his work cut out for him against one of the best secondaries in the league. The 49ers only gave up one passing touchdown over the last two weeks. Still, Brady always seems to find a way to pay off for his owners. Four touchdowns against Houston last week should keep you confident.
Wes Welker only caught three passes in Week 14. He remains a top option, though, and the Patriots will have to utilize him underneath to move the ball on San Francisco. The Niners also haven’t allowed a rushing touchdown in four games. Stevan Ridley’s value is limited here.
