Detroit Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew is doubtful and not expected to play on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. Pettigrew missed practice all week with a shoulder injury he suffered against the Green Bay Packers last week.
Brandon Pettigrew injury update: Fantasy status doubtful
Detroit Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew is doubtful for the Lions game against the Arizona Cardinals with an ankle injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

If Pettigrew is unable to play, Tony Scheffler will start at tight end. Pettigrew has 57 receptions for 556 yards and three touchdowns this season.
Fantasy Impact: Make sure to check back before game time, but it is very unlikely that Pettigrew will play on Sunday. Fantasy owners would be wise to make sure they have another tight end on their roster.
Pettigrew has not been the best fantasy tight end option even when healthy this season and Scheffler is not a strong replacement, although he did score a touchdown last week against the Packers.
