Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan broke two franchise records in Week 15 against the New York Giants. Ryan threw for 270 yards and three touchdowns on Sunday, allowing him to break the team mark for passing yards in a single season. Ryan has thrown for 4,202 yards in 14 games this season. He set the old record in 2011 by throwing for 4,177 yards.

Ryan also completed 23 of 28 passes against the Giants, breaking his own franchise record for completions in a season with 369. Ryan had 357 completions in 2010.
Fantasy Impact: This is the type of game fantasy owners were needing from Ryan in the fantasy playoffs. He hadn’t been great in recent weeks but this should give fantasy owners a lot of confidence heading into Week 16.
Ryan should be considered a No. 1 fantasy quarterback in Week 16 against Detroit.
