Greg McElroy to start Week 16, according to reports: Fantasy implications
The Jets are leaning towards starting Greg McElroy in Week 16 against the Chargers, according to reports. We break down the fantasy implications.

New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan is leaning towards starting Greg McElroy in Week 16 against the San Diego Chargers, according to Rich Cimini of ESPN New York. Reports earlier in the day indicated that Mark Sanchez is likely out as the Jets' starting quarterback.
Surprisingly, Tim Tebow may not get a crack at the starting job. He has been the presumed No. 2 quarterback throughout the year, and has seen the field in spot situations. Tebow was given an entire series to lead the offense during Monday night's loss to the Tennessee Titans. He went 0-for-1 passing with 15 yards rushing on three carries.
Fantasy Impact: With the Jets’ season unraveling, Ryan may be quick to pull McElroy if he struggles Sunday. In which case, it would seem likely that Tebow would come on the field ahead of Sanchez. In any case, none of the three quarterbacks should be even be a blip on your fantasy radar, even against a Chargers secondary that has given up 26 passing touchdowns this year. The Jets are an absolute mess.
