Colin Kaepernick named NFC Offensive Player of the Week: Fantasy implications
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick has been named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week. We break down the fantasy implications.

Earlier this season, Alex Smith won the award after completing 18 of 19 passes for 232 yards and three touchdowns in a Week 8 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. Smith suffered a concussion in Week 10 and Kaepernick took over the starting job in Week 11 against the Chicago Bears.
Fantasy Impact: Kaepernick has very good for fantasy owners since taking over the starting job but will face a difficult matchup in Week 16 against the Seattle Seahawks.
Owners should not bank on another four-touchdown day but should use him as they normally would in Week 16.
