Even though Gronk has been making progress, this does not necessarily mean he will be ready to go on Sunday. In Week 16, the Patriots will face the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Fantasy Implications: This is a good sign for the Patriots but not for fantasy owners. Gronk is essentially done for the season when it comes to fantasy football. The Pats are trying to have him ready for the postseason and will not risk a further setback against an opponent like the Jaguars.
Gronk will more than likely ride the bench on Sunday, so keep him on yours in all fantasy leagues.
