New York Jets wide receiver Stephen Hill was placed on injured reserve, ending his season, via Adam Caplan. The Jets' rookie pass-catcher strained his LCL, which was enough reason to subject him to IR.
Stephen Hill (LCL) placed on IR, fantasy season over in 2012
New York Jets WR Stephen Hill was placed on injured reserve. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

With the Jets being out of the playoff race, they didn’t think twice about allowing their first-rounder the time he needs to heal up.
Fantasy Analysis: Hill never had a great deal of fantasy value this season. The New York Jets, led by Mark Sanchez, were one of the league's worst offenses.
Week after week, they put up disastrous showings, as none of their players could be counted on as consistent fantasy performers. Hill being placed on IR should not make or break anyones postseason chances.
