Dustin Keller may have a tough time suiting up for the New York Jets against the San Diego Chargers on Sunday. Head coach Rex Ryan said that the tight end's playing status "doesn't look as good as I had hoped" while speaking with media Thursday.
Dustin Keller not looking good for Week 16, per Rex Ryan: Fantasy implications
Dustin Keller is not looking good to play Week 16 for the Jets against the Chargers, according to head coach Rex Ryan. We break down the fantasy implications.

Keller is dealing with an ankle injury he suffered in Week 13 against the Arizona Cardinals. He hasn't practiced since, and is not expected to return Thursday. If Keller sits this week, Jeff Cumberland is expected to take his spot in the starting lineup.
Fantasy Impact: Though he hasn't officially been ruled out, don't count on Keller playing this week. Even if healthy, he would be a risky fantasy starter with the Jets deploying former third-string quarterback Greg McElroy this week. If you need to start a Jets tight end, then Cumberland is your best bet. He had four receptions for 53 yards and a touchdown last week, though he was held to one reception the week prior. Start him at your own risk.
