Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has been having success in recent games on play-action passes but coach Jason Garrett said on Wednesday (via The Fort Worth Star-Telegram) that he has to be careful not to use those plays too often. Garrett said running play-action passes too frequently can sometimes take the quarterback out of position to throw the football.

One thing helping Romo with play-action passes is the return of starting running back DeMarco Murray, who has scored in three straight games since returning from a foot injury. Romo threw for 341 yards and two touchdowns in Week 15 and has only thrown one interception since Week 12.
Fantasy Impact: Romo has been very good in recent weeks for fantasy owners and it’s no coincidence that it’s happened with Murray back on the field.
Romo has a good matchup this week against the New Orleans Saints and should be considered a No. 1 fantasy quarterback in all formats.
