Detroit Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew did not practice again on Thursday because of an ankle injury, making it more likely he will not play on Saturday against the Atlanta Falcons. Pettigrew has not practiced since getting injured in Week 14 against the Green Bay Packers. He was inactive for last weekend's loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
Brandon Pettigrew remains out for Lions, fantasy value low for Week 16
Detroit Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew (ankle) did not practice on Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.

If Pettigrew does not play, Tony Scheffler would again be the primary pass-catching tight end for Detroit. Scheffler had three catches for 36 yards in Week 15.
Fantasy Impact: Fantasy owners should not be counting on Pettigrew this weekend and have likely made other arrangements for Week 16.
Scheffler should be considered a No. 2 fantasy tight end and only used in deeper leagues this weekend.
