Brandon Pettigrew doubtful for Sunday, a fantasy scratch
Detroit Lions TE Brandon Pettigrew is doubtful for Week 16. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

The team does not expect to have Pettigrew this Sunday when the Lions take on the Falcons. Lions tight end Tony Scheffler will have to step up in his place.
Fantasy Analysis: Brandon Pettigrew should have already been on your bench. He has been irrelevant for a good part of the season, but now it's official. For many fantasy players, this is the last game of the year, so consider Pettigrew as useful as Braylon Edwards or Brett Favre.
Scheffler has serious hit or miss value. It wouldn’t be surprise if he found his way in the end zone at some point during Sunday’s potential shootout, but he is a serious risk play. Look elsewhere for tight ends in Week 16.
