Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson will continue his pursuit of Jerry Rice's single season receiving record on Saturday night when his team takes on the Atlanta Falcons.
Calvin Johnson poised for a big fantasy night despite tough matchup against Atlanta
Calvin Johnson has his sights set on Jerry Rice’s receiving record.

Johnson is currently 182 yards away from breaking Rice’s record. Johnson has 1,667 receiving yards, and Rice’s record is set at 1,848 yards. Johnson needs to average 91 yards over the next two games to break the record.
On paper, the Falcons present a tough matchup for Megatron and the Lions offense. Atlanta is giving up the fourth fewest fantasy points to wide receivers this season. That being said, Johnson has proven to be matchup proof this season and is getting a ridiculous amount of targets. You have to start him in your fantasy championship.
