Detroit Lions wide out Calvin Johnson has officially broken Jerry Rice's single-season receiving record. CJ went in motion on a crossing route and was able to take it up the right sideline. At the time of the play, Johnson only needed four yards to break the record but he took it for 20-plus.

Fantasy Analysis: This just goes to show the caliber receiver that Calvin Johnson is. Jerry Rice often referred to as the “GOAT,” as in the Greatest of All Time. Johnson has broken Rice’s record with room to spare.
Before the end of the 2012-13 season, Johnson could be the first player in NFL history to hit 2,000 yards receiving in a single season. Calvin Johnson has been one of the best fantasy players again this year.
