Atlanta Falcons running back Michael Turner was a non-factor on Saturday night against the Detroit Lions. He was bundled up, and struggled to get anything going at all.
Michael Turner irrelevant in Week 16, disappoints in fantasy once again
Atlanta Falcons RB Michael Turner proved to be useless in this pass-heavy offense once again. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

He finished with 13 carries for 41 yards. Almost all of the Falcons’ offense came via the passing attack.
Fantasy Analysis: Michael Turner owners had to expect this. He has been phased out of this Atlanta offense, and often just looks like dead weight.
He does not have that explosiveness or threatening presence as a runner. Jacquizz Rodgers has been more appealing, so going forward in fantasy, owners may want to stay clear of Michael Turner. For those who started him in the fantasy finals, this performance came as a serious disappointment.
