Steven Jackson is probable for Sunday, a viable fantasy option

St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson was officially listed as probable for Sunday's game. The Rams feature back did not participate in practice on Wednesday or Thursday, but got in a limited session on Friday.

Jackson landed on the team's injury report with an 'illness' but is expected to start in Week 16. Today, the Rams will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Fantasy Analysis: Jackson will be ready to go this week and is coming off a big performance where he accumulated nearly 150 yards on the ground. However, the Rams runner will be pitted against the league’s top run defense.

It wouldn't surprise anyone to see Jackson's production limited in Week 16. But mind you, he faces the 49ers and Seahawks defenses four times a year, so he won't go down without a fight. Consider him a solid flex play or viable RB2 this afternoon.
