Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has been on a tear in 2012, putting together one of the more miraculous comeback seasons in NFL history.
Adrian Peterson nearing 2K mark, fantasy value higher than ever
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is nearing 2,000 yards. We breakdown the fantasy implications

The Vikings feature back is leading the league in rushing with 1,812 yards, and is 293 yards away from Eric Dickerson's single-season record (2,105). Peterson will look to near the record this weekend when the Vikings take on the Texans.
Fantasy Analysis: The team’s franchise back is having a career year after tearing his ACL in 2011. This season is not only incredible for any individual, but especially for one coming off such a devastating injury. Peterson needs to average 146.5 yards over the next two games in order to take Dickerson’s record.
The Texans have been soft defensively toward the end of the season. Start Adrian Peterson as usual and expect another spectacular performance.
