Chargers vs. Jets: Fantasy football projections featuring Danario Alexander, Shonn Greene, Philip Rivers
We break down the pertinent fantasy projections for the Week 16 matchup between the San Diego Chargers and New York Jets.

San Diego Chargers
With Ryan Mathews done for the year, the running game is now down to some combination of Ronnie Brown, Jackie Battle and Curtis Brinklye. I expect Brown to get the majority of snaps, but he's hardly an inspiring flex play. Danario Alexander put up a fat goose egg last week and things won't be any easier against Antonio Cromartie. The entire offense is being held back by Philip Rivers, who's having the worst season of his career. It's a nightmare scenario for fantasy owners.
New York Jets
The New York QB merry-go-round takes another turn, as Greg McElroy gets the start this week. You don't need me to tell you not to bother with him in championship week. Look for him to lean on Shonn Greene, who continues to plod his way towards the least inspiring 1,000 yard season in recent memory. He's a low-end RB2/flex play. Nobody else on this offense is worth considering with a first-time starting QB.
