Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew is officially inactive for the team's Week 16 game against the New England Patriots.
Maurice Jones-Drew inactive, destroying his fantasy value
The Jaguars running back will miss his ninth straight game.

Jones-Drew has now been inactive for nine straight games since suffering a foot injury against the Oakland Raiders in Week 7. The Jaguars have yet to place him on injured reserve, but he's a longshot to return to the lineup this season.
Fantasy Impact: Maurice Jones-Drew was quietly on his way to another productive season before suffering his foot injury against the Raiders. He’s provided very little value to his fantasy owners this season and has made life difficult on himself in terms of contract negotiations.
His two primary backups have also suffered injuries, paving the way for Montell Owens to start for the Jaguars.
