Pittsburgh Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall is officially active for the team's Week 16 game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Rashard Mendenhall active against Bengals, improving fantasy value
Rashard Mendenhall is active for the first time since Week 12.

Mendenhall was demoted to third string and deactivated for the Week 13 game against the Baltimore Ravens. He was inactive against the Chargers the next week and didn't even show up to the stadium, which prompted Mike Tomlin to suspend him for Week 15. He is now active and expected to get some work against the Bengals.
Fantasy Impact: Pittsburgh's running back has been a disaster this season. Mendenhall only further clouds the waters. He definitely destroys Jonathan Dwyer's already low fantasy value.
Don’t go anywhere near the Pittsburgh backfield if you can help it.
