DeMarco Murray rushed for just 40 yards on 11 carries in Week 16 against the Saints. He also hauled in four receptions for 51 yards out of the backfield on six targets.
DeMarco Murray has a mediocre fantasy outing in Week 16
DeMarco Murray only carried the ball 11 times against the Saints. We break down the fantasy implications.

He lost a fumble at the Cowboys own 5-yard line in the third quarter, ultimately costing them a shot at victory on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: The Cowboys abandoned the ground game while Tony Romo threw 43 passes on the afternoon. No other player touched the ball out of the backfield, so that at least shows Murray was the only one involved in the rushing attack.
Next week Murray will face a tougher Redskins defense that ranks sixth in the league against the run. You’ll still want to start him, though, if you’re playing in a league championship.
