Week 17 is when the owner has to be at his/her best and a stacked team can turn into a pumpkin with certain players to sit at least part of the game. Those that have their Super Bowl this week, need to stay abreast of the buzz around which teams might be making some of their players inactive.

There are some concerns about stud receivers getting benched, so check out how we rank the top 50 receivers for PPR and standard leagues.
These rankings may be a bit of an overreaction to the possibility of players getting benched for at least one half, but I’ve seen it all too often in Week 17 when a player goes for one or two drives and takes a seat. Reggie Wayne, Colts - The Colts have nothing to play for on Sunday. Wayne said that he wants to play, but given the way he hasn't been setting the world on fire lately, I wouldn't play him even as a WR3.
A.J. Green, Bengals- The Bengals signed Dane Sanzenbacher off waivers, so reading between the lines, I'd be a little more worried about starting A.J. However, he's such a stud that he's still a nice WR2 until further notice.
Randy Moss, 49ers - The Niners lost Mario Manningham for the year with torn ligaments in his knee. Randy "Straight Cash Homey" Moss will be the new Z for them. I still wouldn't start him even though he should offer nice upside since Patrick Peterson will lock down Michael Crabtree on Sunday.
Randall Cobb, Packers - Be prepared to have him on your bench. The Packers are going to play to win, but Cobb's ankle injury doesn't sound good. Greg Jennings and James Jones are the winner and are nice starts. Keep an eye on Jordy Nelson's hammy, too.
Justin Blackmon, Jaguars- Cecil Shorts is on IR and the Jags should lean heavily on their rookie against the Titans. He's a must-start, in my opinion.
Mike Wallace, Steelers - 60 Minutes has a strained hip injury and his status is unclear for Sunday. He is not ranked and Emmanuel Sanders is a nice play.
Roddy White and Julio Jones, Falcons - Roddy and Julio has been relatively healthy this year, but Roddy dealt with a minor knee injury and Julio has a troublesome hammy to worry about. Keep an eye on Harry Douglas.
