Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles is has officially been placed on injured reserve, ending his rookie season.
Nick Foles placed on injured reserve, killing 2012 fantasy value
Foles’ season is over after he suffered a fracture in his hand on Sunday.

Foles suffered a hairline fracture in his hand, which would normally keep him out of action for about a month. With the Eagles’ season winding to a close next week, though, Foles has been shut down for the season.
Fantasy Impact: Nick Foles likely wasn't on many fantasy rosers, especially not ones that made it this deep into the season. His rookie season was unceremonious, as he mostly struggled in place of the injured Michael Vick.
He did throw for over 300 yards in two of his final three games, however, and should have a chance to be the Eagles starting quarterback in 2013.
