The Cleveland Browns have signed free agent quarterback Josh Johnson.
Josh Johnson signs with Cleveland Browns, still has no fantasy value
With Brandon Weeden injured, the Browns have added some insurance at quarterback.

Johnson was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but never got a chance to be a starting quarterback for an extended period of time. He signed with the 49ers back in March to reunite with Jim Harbaugh, who coached Johnson at the University of San Diego.
Johnson will likely backup Thad Lewis and Colt McCoy when the Browns take on the Steelers in the regular season finale. Starting quarterback Brandon Weeden is dealing with a shoulder injury.
Fantasy Impact: John Johnson won't likely have any fantasy impact in the regular season finale. He was signed more as an insurance policy, which sheds some light on Brandon Weeden's injury.
Johnson will hope to stick on the roster into the offseason.
