Detroit Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew did not practice on Wednesday, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press.
Brandon Pettigrew misses Wednesday practice, fantasy value in question
The Lions’ tight end is in danger of missing his third straight game.

Pettigrew suffered a high ankle sprain in the team’s Week 14 game. He hasn’t resumed practice since the injury and seems like a long shot to play in Week 17 at this point.
Fantasy Impact: Brandon Pettigrew was an inconsistent fantasy football tight end this season. He tallied double digit fantasy points in a single game only once this season. He will likely finish the season with 556 yards and three touchdowns on the season.
The Lions' passing attack ran through Calvin Johnson this season, and Pettigrew didn't make much of an impact. Fantasy owners are stuck waiting for Pettigrew to live up to his lofty potential.
