Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson sat out the team's practice on Wednesday, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press.
Calvin Johnson misses Wednesday practices, fantasy value still solid
Johnson is getting some much needed rest after breaking Jerry Rice’s record.

Johnson just racked up 225 receiving yards on Saturday night against the Atlanta Falcons to break Jerry Rice's single-season record for receiving yardage. He now has his sights set on being the first player in history to crack the 2,000 yard mark in a single season.
Fantasy Impact: Calvin Johnson has been playing with sore knees for the last month and a half of the season, so the fact that he missed an early week practice shouldn’t come as a huge surprise.
Johnson will likely play on Sunday when the Lions play against the Chicago Bears.
