San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis is not expected to practice on Wednesday, via Matt Maiocco. The 49ers pass-catcher sustained a concussion on Sunday Night Football last week, taking a vicious blow from Seattle Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor.
Vernon Davis injury update: Will not practice on Wednesday
San Francisco 49ers TE Vernon Davis did not practice on Wednesday. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Davis "has not experienced a setback" but still won't practice today. If Maiocco's report is accurate, Davis could still start in Week 17 against the Arizona Cardinals.
Fantasy Analysis: As big as a name as he is, Vernon Davis' fantasy production has dropped significantly in the past few weeks. Since the switch was made from Alex Smith to Colin Kaepernick, the 49ers offense has been moving through the backs and wide receivers.
Davis has been a complete non-factor, even admitting the chemistry with him and Kaepernick isn’t quite there yet. If you can spot a better match-up, it might not hurt to take a chance on another TE.
