The Jacksonville Jaguars have officially placed Maurice Jones-Drew (foot) on injured reserve, ending his season for good. Jones-Drew hasn't played or even practiced since his foot injury in Week 7, but the team held out a sliver of hope that he could return in 2012. That's obviously not happening now.

Fantasy Impact: MJD finishes the season with 414 yards and one touchdown in just six games. It was a complete turkey for a guy who went in the Top 5 in many fantasy drafts.
With a contract situation and front-office shakeup looming, MJD’s future with the Jaguars is cloudy. Regardless of what team he’s playing on, look for a rebound year from him in 2013.
