The Cleveland Browns have confirmed that QB Thaddeus Lewis will get the start in the season finale against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Starter Brandon Weeden is out with a shoulder injury, and his backup Colt McCoy is also injured, so Cleveland is down to their third-string QB.
Thaddeus Lewis to start at QB for Browns: Fantasy implicaions
You’ll be forgiven if this is the first time you’ve heard of Thaddeus Lewis.

This is the first time all season Lewis will dress for a game.
Fantasy Impact: The Browns signed Josh Johnson off the streets as the backup. Here's what we know about Lewis--he's 25, he played at Duke and was on the Rams in 2010 back when Pat Shurmur was the OC. It seems Shurmur likes the kid. He's also the 18th Browns QB to start a game since coming back in 1999.
There’s really not much more to say here. I mean, if you want to stake your fantasy title hopes on the guy, more power to you I guess. The rest of us will just be witnessing the absurdity.
