Davone Bess missed practice Friday for the Miami Dolphins, according to Omar Kelly of the Florida Sun-Sentinel. Bess has missed the last two weeks with a back injury, and has yet to be officially cleared to practice, putting his status for Week 17 against the New England Patriots in jeopardy.
Davone Bess misses practice Friday: Week 17 fantasy prospects dim
Davone Bess missed practice for the Dolphins on Friday, and is not expected to play Sunday against the Patriots. We break down the fantasy implications.

If Bess is unable to suit up, Marlon Moore, Rishard Matthews and Armon Binns are expected to see more playing time next to Brian Hartline.
Fantasy Impact: Fantasy owners should expect Bess to remain inactive this week. Those looking for a replacement WR3 on the Dolphins’ roster should look elsewhere. Matthews and Binns have seen targets over Moore over the last two weeks, but neither has more than 37 yards receiving over that span. Binns has the most upside, but should only be picked up off waivers by owners in keeper leagues with some roster space to play with.
