John Fox kept Knowshon Moreno as the featured runner in the Broncos backfield in Week 13. Moreno took 20 carries against the Buccaneers, but only managed 69 yards against one of the league’s best run defenses.
Knowshon Moreno sees heavy workload, puts in mediocre fantasy numbers
Knowshon Moreno was the No. 1 running back for the Broncos in Week 13. We break down the fantasy implications.

He also caught four passes for 14 yards on the afternoon. Ronnie Hillman finished second in carries with just five.
Fantasy Impact: The good news? Moreno handled the majority of the workload once again. Tampa Bay ranks first in the league against the run, so it’s hard to expect a whole lot from him in just his second start of the season.
Denver seems committed to Moreno at this point. He should be in for an impressive afternoon next week against Oakland assuming he remains at the top of the depth chart.
