DeAngelo Williams injury update: Fantasy status safe for regular season finale
DeAngelo Williams is expected to play Sunday when the Panthers take on the Saints. He was given the day off to rest Wednesday, but returned to practice as a full participant Thursday and Friday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jonathan Stewart is expected to sit out once again with an ankle injury. As a result, Williams should once again see near-exclusive touches. He has had at least 10 carries in each of his last five games. Williams has two receiving touchdowns over that span.
Fantasy Impact: The Panthers don't have anything to play for at this point, but they won't be resting starters in hopes of a deep playoff run, either. Williams will play, though whether he will be an effective fantasy option is another question. He hasn't found the end zone on the ground since Week 9 against the Washington Redskins. Fantasy owners will have to once again hope Williams is able to make a big play as a receiver, but he has been able to do that often enough to warrant Flex consideration this week.
