Brandon Marshall was held to one of his worst performances of the season, with five receptions for 42 yards. Still, with a limited contribution from Marshall, the Bears did enough to defeat the Detroit Lions 26-24.
Brandon Marshall puts up disappointing fantasy numbers
Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall was severely limited by the Detroit Lions. We break down the fantasy implications.

Marshall was targeted 14 times, seven more than any other Chicago receiver, but the Lions did a good job of blanketing him. He ends his season with 118 receptions for 1,508 yards and 11 touchdowns, all career highs.
Fantasy Impact: This game was disappointing for fantasy owners who were still playing in Week 17, but on the whole Marshall re-established himself as an elite receiver this season.
The connection between Jay Cutler and Marshall is undeniable and there is no reason to expect anyone but Marshall to be the focal point of the Bears passing attack next season and moving forward.
