Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford threw for three touchdowns in a loss to the Bears. We break down the fantasy implications.

This was only the third three-touchdown game of the season for Stafford, who regressed after last year’s 41-touchdown season. Stafford did throw for a lot of yards this year with 4,967, but just struggled to find the end zone at the same rate.
Fantasy Impact: Stafford came through in Week 17 for those of you still playing fantasy at this point in the season, but was a disappointment overall. It was expected that he would build upon the numbers he put up last season, but instead he went the other direction.
Despite Calvin Johnson's record-year, Stafford and the Lions struggled to score. Stafford will only be considered an average fantasy option entering next season.
