After his big Week 17 outing, Ponder finishes the regular season with 2,935 yards passing and 18 touchdowns to 12 interceptions. He has gone three straight games without a pick.
Fantasy Impact: Ponder looked like a viable starting NFL quarterback this season, which is encouraging for fans of the playoff-bound Vikings. Fantasy owners didn’t get much out of the second-year quarterback, however. His Week 17 performance was arguably the best of his career. Ponder should be targeted as a backup quarterback in standard formats next season.
