The Jets offense was unspectacular once again in Week 17, and Shonn Greene fit right in with that trend. He rushed for 74 yards on 19 carries, averaging just under four yards per touch.
Shonn Greene posts average numbers in fantasy finale
Shonn Greene didn’t wow any owners in Week 17. We break down the fantasy implications.

Greene finishes 2012 with career-highs in rushing yards and touchdowns, but he averaged a career-low in yards per carry.
Fantasy Impact: After four years in New York, Greene hasn’t really made much of a case to be the No. 1 starter for any team. He’ll be a free agent this offseason, and it’s hard to imagine any team getting excited about him leading their backfield.
The Jets should see several changes heading into 2013, potentially not including Greene. Fantasy owners shouldn’t look until later rounds to draft him next year.
